Natural Factors Unbleached Lecithin

Lecithin is an essential fat and a good source of choline, a nutrient that supports the nervous system and liver health. It protects cell membrane function throughout the body 's vital organs and also assists in the proper digestion and absorption of essential fats and fat-soluble vitamins.

Commercially available phosphatidylcholine preparations are made from soy lecithin. Lecithin is suggested for healthy liver function and may benefit those seeking to support normal liver function. Because phosphatidylcholine is needed for the liver to process fat and cholesterol properly, inadequate levels can lead to their build-up in the liver and eventually cause damage.

Natural Factors Unbleached Lecithin is made from 100% soy beans and contains no preservatives, colours, or sweeteners. Because this formula is unbleached, it has not been exposed to such bleaching agents as hydrogen peroxide and does not contain bleaching residues. Each easy-to-swallow softgel provides 1200 mg of lecithin to be taken with meals in three convenient daily doses. Some diets do not provide enough lecithin for optimal health. Unbleached Lecithin is a convenient and healthy way to increase dietary lecithin intake, support liver function, and boost cellular levels of good fats.

Canadian Pricing vs US

I’ve always shopped Vitasave for their great deals and good shipping, but now with the huge differential with the exchange rate (about 20%), I am not happy with the outcome. What seems a good sale online, turns into a huge bill on the statement once the conversions are made. I think a solution would be to have a website in Canada where all prices are listed in Canadian Dollars. That would help me with my purchases. In the past I would have given Vitacost 5 stars; but this issue has dropped my opinion.
