Better Than Rice Organic Konjac Rice

At Better Than Foods, we have a range of healthy and tasty pasta noodles and rice alternatives. Our organic Konjac range is made from organic Konnyaku flour from the Konjac plant. Our healthy ready to eat meals are made from a unique Konjac recipe with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our latest addition is the Konjac range made from a unique recipe that gives our konjac food a texture far better than regular konjac and without the need of water, so there's no need to drain or rinse.

Konjac is a low calorie, high fibre root vegetable that has been eaten in Japan for centuries. Our Konjac rice has a very neutral taste, taking on the flavour of your favorite sauces. It is made without wheat or soy using organic konjac, which is naturally free from gluten, carbs, fat, sodium and sugar. An excellent alternative to traditional rice!

Great for pho

I usually get them and pour them on my pho instead of rice noodles. Love it!

Even though I followed the directions on the package, the noodles clumped together and they had to be separated with a fork that did not fully separate all of them. I added them to soup. I did not like the texture of the noodles that had a slight rubbery taste and they did not have any flavor. Although they are supposed to be organic they were not good. After eating them I felt nauseated and sick for two days, but luckily did not experience vomiting. I will never buy these noodles again and would give it a rating of 0 if it was allowed, instead of 1 star.

good and a quick meal

i was not sure how these were going to taste but i was happy with them they make a quick meal after a long day my only advice is use them all at one meal i dident and put them in the fridge with the sauce and they got very soggy and not very good but as long as you eat them at once i think they are good and i just made a good old fashion tomato sauce to go with them nothing fancy and it was quick and simple something i will be buying more of for sure
