Bob's Red Mill All Purpose Baking Flour

Gluten Free All-Purpose Baking Flour is a blend of garbanzo bean flour, potato starch, whole grain white sorghum flour, tapioca flour and fava bean flour. It’s just the thing for those sensitive to gluten. Our Gluten Free All-Purpose Baking Flour can replace wheat flour in a variety of recipes with the addition of xanthan gum or guar gum.

One serving of 34 grams contains 3.5 grams of whole grains and 10% of the recommended daily serving of fiber. This flour can be made into delicious homemade baked goods such as cakes, cookies, breads, and breakfast items such as muffins, pancakes, and waffles. Tips for use and a recipe for scrumptious gluten free chocolate chip cookies are on the label.

Gluten-Free Vegan Banana Bread

  • 2 cups Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Flour

  • 2 tsp Baking Powder

  • 2 tsp Baking Soda

  • 1 tsp Xanthan Gum

  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil or Canola Oil

  • 1 cup Evaporated Cane Sugar

  • 2/3 cup Milk (Soy, Almond, Rice)

  • 1/2 cup Applesauce unsweetened

  • 1-1/2 cups Banana mashed

  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter (or other nut butter)

  • 1/2 cup Walnut Halves , Pecans, Chocolate Chips and/or Raisins (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F. Grease 2 bread loaves and set aside.
  • Blend together all dry ingredients. Blend in all wet ingredients one at a time, except the bananas, until smooth. Finally add bananas until well incorporated.
  • Divide batter equally between the two pans.
  • Bake 40 minutes, rotating pans after 20 minutes. Banana bread is done when toothpick comes out clean.
Makes 2 loaves (13 slices each)
