Iron Vegan Sprouted Protein

Gone is the gritty, grainy mouth feel of a typical vegan protein. In its place is a smooth, delicious flavour and creamy texture that will almost certainly surprise you.

It begins with organic sprouted whole grain brown rice. Unlike white rice, the protein from brown rice is enzymatically extracted, without the use of chemical solvents, from multiple layers of whole grain including the bran, germ and endosperm.

Next is the addition of raw organic sprouted quinoa, amaranth, millet and pumpkin seed. Each of these organic sprouts is germinated at room temperature, allowing them to retain nutrients that would otherwise be compromised during cooking.

Last but not least is a combination of organic flavours and sweeteners that help to give Sprouted Protein its remarkable taste.

Benefits:

    • contains 17 grams of raw, plant-based protein
    • 5 types of non-GMO sprouted grains and seeds
    • Provides a complete profile of all 9 essential and non-essential amino acids.
    • No artificial flavours or colours
    • Sweetened with organic stevia leaf
    • Remarkably smooth and creamy taste

Directions: Mix one scoop, 24 g, with 200ml of rice or almond milk, or the beverage of your choice. It can also be added to oatmeal, muffins or pancakes to help increase their protein content.

My Fav. Legume Free Protein Powder!

Needed a plant protein powder that didn’t have legumes. It’s very hard to find, but this is the one!!!! I eat legumes for protein sometimes but I like to get protein from other sources too because sometimes if I eat too much legumes my stomach hurts.

I like to make my protein shake using a blender and these ingredients:

Unsweetened Plant Milk
Unsweetened Iron Vegan Powder
Frozen Banana
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
Unsweetened& Unsalted Almond Butter
Pure Maple Syrup

This is probably a very good product but right now my digestive system is not able to handle it.

Lactose Intolerant & No Sugar, I'm in!

It's great! Finally found a pure product. No brutal gas pain from chick pea powders like the other Vegan products, no grainy texture, and no sugar of any kind!
Yes it's a very fine powder that makes a jell like texture BUT if you add 1/4 cup of a high fiber cereal & 1 tablespoon of a nut butter it becomes more like a milkshake texture.
My recipe - 1 cup Almond milk, 1/4 c high fiber cereal, 1/4 c frozen blueberries, 1 small frozen banana, 1 tbl spoon peanut butter or almond butter or seed butter.
It's a kick-ass meal for a warrior! :)

Iron Vegan

I needed a SUPER clean protein powder a year ago and my friend recommended Iron Vegan. I like the fact it's unflavoured, nothing artificial is important to me. I still use it and don't feel like I'm missing out. Good protein and energy source. I add it to my gym bottle and oatmeal for extra protein on the go. It mixes well into the oatmeal (soaked oats with almond milk). It does need to be shaken well in the water bottle. I use a shaker bottle and add the ice after it's been shaken.

No Digestive Upset

This is my favourite protein powder so far. The scoops are smaller and get the same amount of grams of protein as other companies. This actually sits better with my gut than the fermented protein powders.
