Definitely the unsweetened is way to go. If you want to add fruit or 'milk', then you don't get too many sweet things happening at once!

Excellent way to start the day
I appreciate the quality ingredients and the price is reasonable. This powder along with some fruits in the morning makes for a nourishing and filling breakfast. Taste is decent compared to some other powders.
