Silybum marianum is a short annual plant grown in dry rocky soils in Europe and the USA. The whole plant may be harvested for medicinal purpose. Traditionally, milk thistle is employed for two purposes: Promoting the health of the liver in healthy and weakened states. Promoting the production of milk in nursing mothers.
Silybum marianum (Milk Thistle 1:1 extract) 100 g/100 ml
Adults: Take 1 teaspoon (5 mL), two to three times per day with food. Can be mixed with juice or water. Shake well before use.
CAUTIONS: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant. Hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Do not use if security seal is broken.
STORAGE: Refrigerate after opening. Store away from children. Consume within six (6) months after opening.
