Fuel Your Next Adventure with Iron Vegan Bars!

With summer just around the corner, everyone is eagerly planning their vacations. From day-trips to weekend trips to full-on month adventures – it is important to stay fueled. We’ve all been there… you’re on your way to the cottage and you’ve passed the last restaurant for the next 4 hours, then hunger strikes! Yikes! This is the moment you wish you packed some healthy snacks to keep you going. When you are out adventuring you need something with healthy fats, protein and lots of fiber to keep you full for hours. A run-of-the-mill granola bar is not going to cut it. You need something that will keep your blood sugar balanced and keep you happy for more than a few minutes.

Our suggestion? Iron Vegan Protein Bars. The bars come in 4 delicious flavors and are sure to not disappoint! The first ingredient is a prebiotic powder, to keep your gut happy and with less than 4g of sugar per bar you can feel good about feeding these to your whole family. The 16g of protein is enough to help you climb that mountain or to give you the boost you need you keep up with your kids in the water.

It is no wonder that these bars are selling out across the country. We have heard some people bring them to movie night as their yummy “treat”! They are allergen friendly too as they are free of gluten, dairy, egg, and soy. Simple to pack as a satisfying school snack or to carry with you on the plane. Give them a try and let us know what you think!

Natural factors Probiotics

I found NF powdered probiotics to be the most cost effective per serving so far. Like all probiotics it does the job.

Good replacement for Bob’s Red Mill!

I was so sad when Bob’s Red Mill stopped making their protein powder (the vanilla one I liked sweetened with monk fruit). This is a really good replacement. I recommend grinding up some chia seeds and adding it to your scoop. It’s sweet so I use half of a scoop at a time. But it tastes delicious with no aftertaste. Enjoy! :)
